Time off,

So, i spent some time off from the game, which is good. Actually was having fun playing a low stacks game when coming back, I turned 15$ into 100$, to then turn 100$ into 3$ hah.
But I have FPP's so, im far from broke.

With 4k in FPP points.. thats atleast 100$ worth of tournament dollars
210 fpp per tournament
50% to make 11$
4,000 / 200 = 20
so 10 x 11 = 110$

So, i have some money, but it will take time to retrieve it.
When I started to get low in funds, I started playing a lot of Omaha HL hu.
I think I'm a pretty good omaha player, and when im beaten, I am generally mad since I always feel like I can beat the competition. Right now I would say I am very cold decked.

The funny thing is, that 100$ is still a 100$, in my Br it doesn't feel like much, but it is.
So, my goal is to reach over 100$ and cash out, unfortunately i can't receive my money here Grr.

Maybe I should start a new account... hmm. Since im out of the country I can't recieve money.
oh well, best of luck to me.

4th day

I think yesterday was an excellent example of my downfall, all the hands were going against me and i just kept playing. I actually made it all the way down to 1.75$, my current bankroll is 25$.

gawh,

current goal is 50$, lets try and get back to day 1... sheesh.

Ugly, and gross.

Some hands have been feeling like setups to lose money, i just had q/q vs a/a, he slowed played his aces so i had no idea, but the flop was a/q/rag . So of course on the river i pay him off thinking that the money is coming my way, and then a guy raised and i had q/k suited, which is decent, and he raised on the flop and i hit top pair of kings, so, i thought i might even take that hand down, but he ended up having K/K, and taking a good chunk away from my bankroll.

So, I have 24$ and not many frequent player points to bail me out.

Terrible poker day, awful.

So, I guess i need to stay patient and try to make any at all profit i can get, just aslong as i make any progress.

ahhhhh come on luck.

verygross.

3rd day

Woes, Unfortunately, my boat of profit has run aground.
I'm at 60$, and I've had "one of those days..."
Which is a pleasant way of describing suck outs and bad luck. I'm using a strategy of setting a noose for opponents to hang themselves. When i flop top pair top kicker, since i am playing tight, I check or do a minimal raise. If i feel like I could get sucked out on, 3 cards near each other or 2 of the same suite. The idea is, if i just bet out confidently i might drive away someone with middle or bottom pair, and even at times you can keep someone with ace high in the pot for a later bet when they are a large underdog. I find that people after calling the flop and turn, will call a larger bet on the river. If they have a draw that misses, of course they muck immediately.

Well. the table im playing at now, ive had my aces cracked twice, once by 10/10 the other by 10/9. I guess i should of folded the 2nd being which the board was 76789, but i hate it when a board goes perfectly for another player to beat you.

So, now I'm down to 42$, and a bit depressed. I should probably take a break from playing, but this is where my nonprofitable play comes in, when i begin losing.. or actually lose long enough, it just encourages me to get in there and take it back.

I need to rather drop down in limits for a little while, until i feel "it" coming back to me, or really separate myself completely playing for a few hours.

I guess i need to just stay positive, and look at this like im back at the end of day 1, im back to 50$, which was day 1's goal. I might do a very low buy in tournament or large sit n go.. something to get me back on track...

More then half my bankroll went out the window, I felt like he was very strong, but I couldnt put that down, i should of tried to cut my losses.

My other big loss was with k/q vs qq

The board was 89q 8 8
so, on the river, i called an all - in expecting a split pot, I could of expected 4 of a kind.. but I didnt feel that coming.

Day 2, Bankroll: 54$
Still playing .10/.25, and at times feel i should be at even lower limits, although the depression would be too much.

Todays goal is 100$, but, if profit isnt coming I should just bail for a few hours and try again. I would like to not to get into the grinding mind state where i might keep playing even when im not going to be profitable.

So, current plan is patience, less aggression, and even more patience.

I'm going to try out fixed limit micro, although im not sure why anyone would play that.. but anything to earn a dollar at this point.

The start

The premise of the blog is, gaining back all the money ive lost online. I wouldnt even say ive played that bad, but i know lately, ive had just an awful run of cards. Often not exactly card dead, but good 2nd best cards, which lead me to bet and call and lose.

So, the idea is, I'm going to win back it all (hopeful)

So, my backroll is currently 26$
I'm trying to win back 2,500$ (Barf)

(still hopeful)
Ive downgraded my current limits quite a bit, down to .10/.25 NL.

I was down to 11$ earlier, and that was just abysmal.

So, for this evening, I would like to reach 50$ total in my bankroll.

I have to adjust my playing style to lower limits, be less aggressive unless my starting hand is 10/10 or above in value. Playing possum, wait for the hand to be made, or be a large favorite before going to aggro.

Play tight, after 2 orbits (-3 BBs) (.75) at current limit, should switch tables. Staying to tables with more people should benefit me more, and staying away from sharks :(

So, regardless, current goal for the next 24 hours is 24$.
